fun fact: flake bars were made accidentally as the chocolate machine had a leak which made a flake bar and then Cadbury’s decided to keep making flakes😂

Proper Smarties procedure: Remove lid, place tube in mouth, empty entire tube, chew.
I progressed to boxes of Smarties as a child, not bragging or anything, but have you ever seen a box of Smarties? No? That's how good I was 😄.

'Fry's' is one of the oldest chocolate producers in the UK - founded about 1760 and in my home city of Bristol (England). It was taken over by Cadbury (founded later in 1919). We could still smell the chocolate exuding from the big factory in Keynsham (near Bristol) up until the turn of the century. Cadbury was sold to American owners and despite their promises the factory was closed down very shortly (almost immediately) after. Now its flats for very wealthy older people, looks nice but very sad.

Your reaction to the Turkish delight is pretty much the same for about 95% of British people 😂 great vid, as a Brit I feel personally attacked on the disrespect of the maltesers! Good selection of treats though, you could do another with an ARRAY of other ones, Cadbury’s cream egg, Cadbury’s mini eggs, double decker, boost, twirl, munchies, even the British versions of like kitkat and snickers etc (the British version are better in my opinion!)

Yeah, that one's a bit of an acquired taste - you either love it or hate it. It's rose flavoured jelly inside (yes, as in the flower.) And yeah, quite a lot of British chocolate is born from "why?" 😁

'Turkish delight' is a jelly-jello-like candy from the middle east, often flavoured with rose, lemon, pistachio and various others. Usually comes in small cubes coated in copious amounts of icing sugar! I'm probably the rare 1% in the UK who actually loves rose flavoured things 😅

Fun fact of the day when living in USA I always wondered y american chocolate tasted like vomit here is why :- American chocolate contains butyric acid - the chemical that gives vomit its very distinctive smell and acrid taste.
