Has anyone noticed that all the upgrades are down south! When are you going move up north and get our railways upgraded? Trans Pennine Upgrades are paused yet again and won’t restart, probably for a few years at least!

Increasing the albedo of rails by painting them white is a deceptively simple way reducing solar heating, expansion, and buckling. Clever!

It would appear the Network Rail think that the area around London is the only the area that is important. Unfortunately those of us in the North and especially the, but still essential areas, are again ignored. Lines only kept open because of absolute strategic reasons with little thought to the day to day needs of the local populace.Try getting 20 miles to the nearest Hospital without a Bus service or a car with only a limited Train Service.Even worse now, "Essential Travel Only" has been mandated by the Government. If you want to show what is happening on the Network.1 Put on a longer post and 2 Show each Region Separately within the same post .That way we can all see where the moneys going.Or maybe you don't want us too know?

It’s nice to see Tring railway station to have lifts. Perhaps Rugeley Trent Valley could do with lifts to make it step-free. Just like at Lichfield Trent Valley. And to replace the old footbridge at Bookham, Surrey with a new footbridge. Keep up the good work.

Who would have thought that there would be a temperature difference of 0.3° within the distance of 3 sleepers?

Network Rail, can I ask, when working on a line with Third rail, does the electric current get turned off or at least some voltage taken out so it is less dangerous for rail workers or do you just have to be careful?
