Nice to hear about electric trains through the Severn Tunnel; what about electric trains through Box tunnel; you know, the tunnel that was closed for months in order to enable the overhead wires to be fitted, along with many other works, and the leccy runs out around about Chippenham.
PS, I do know that this isn't Network Rail's fault...

Be good to reopen the disused tunnel at Kings Cross to allow LNER trains to access the platforms and to reduce the bottleneck. As well a new underpass at Werrington Junction just north of Peterborough station.

And congratulations on completing the electrification on the Severn Tunnel that Class 800 trains can now run on electric from London Paddington to Cardiff Central.

You need a new camera. Screen formats are bigger these days.

I feel like you’re chasing your tail trying to just maintain the current infrastructure because of all the impacts of climate change. And that’s going to make it really hard to actually upgrade it to the level it should be at. Hopefully I’m wrong but it looks like an impossible job right now.
