I’m not an animal lover but somehow I fell deeply in love with the neighbors cat that came to my house everyday. Losing him suddenly was so deeply devastating for me. I’ve been crying everyday non stop. I just got sent his paw prints and lock of hair I requested and I lost it all over again today. I feel extreme guilt because I could have protected him better and I knew he came to my house everyday because he felt love here. He was my soulmate and a pet I never asked for but was beyond blessed to have. I didn’t deserve him he was truly a divine gift from God. The bond that I had with him was magical as if all time and space didn’t exist. I can feel him everywhere. I feel so intertwined with his soul, I was obsessed with him. This is not something I went looking for however I’m here having experienced the most magical bond in my life. I feel a part of me is gone and I can never replace him. I miss holding him close to my body and hugging him. I miss his little licks. My best friend, my little buddy, I can’t even imagine the pain he went through. I love him so much and I will get justice for his life. He’s a part of me forever.

I put my precious 15 yo Monty down 1 week ago and I’m having such a hard time with this. I know he is ok and thriving but I just can’t stop blaming myself for the decisions I made leading up this. If only I took him to vet appointments especially when he turned senior then maybe they would have caught the hyperthyroidism and kidney disease early. I ope he forgives me…my world is shattered. I lost my dog in 2015 he was my best friend didn't know how ill he was he had cancer and I didn't know he made sure ibgot past my mums death in 2015 6 months later he dog alone in the vets I feel so guilty that I didn't know how ill he was if ibhad known i would have not let him suffer in pain which he was in he send me a friend who needed me as much i needed her she lost her owner he died she came to me as a temporary house guest amd ended up staying she is 11 years old
