CS:GO Black Screen FIX! (Resolution)

If you got this problem April/May 2019, this MIGHT work for you:

A temporary solution was to make it in window mode instead of fullscreen, which worked better but not all the time.
BUT THE REAL SOLUTION (for me at least) was to delete ALL of my " launch options" in CS, and then everything worked out fine again!
I dont know which one/ones that was causing this, but after I deleted all my launch options everything is now working fine as before.
And seems like many of my launch options was outdated anyway so seems like I am fine without them.

for those who didnt see the file, just do a search of "Video" while in that folder, it will show up

I first put 1280/1024 and it didnt work, then i put 1280/720 and it didnt work.The game starts with black screen and if i press enter it just exits the game.Please help

People who dont Have video.txt go to program files>steam>userdata>click that 9 digit of number>730>local>cfg>video

i have a problem that none knows about, i uninstalled csgo about 2 weeks ago installed it again and every time i join a game (deathmatch) the whole screen is black except for the chat, weapons slots kills HUD and the leaderboard pops up. IM not sure if this is a video used to solve that problem. If it is could you please tell me.

do u know how to fix in match like when i open cs go its normal then when i play casual some times i get black screen and it goes away in probably in 5 sec and i can see again its annoying can u help

right click csgo in steam
properties
set launch options
enter
-window
press ok and start csgo
in csgo change ur video settings
to the one that didn't gave u the black screen
click apply

then go back to steam
properties set launch options
and remove -window
and click ok
done!

There's an easy way to fix the resolution just open your geforce nvdia and click on csgo click details there's a setting on the lower right after clicking setting then change the resolution based on your monitor resolution thas it I hope i can help you guys good day 👍
