Modern Forehand Technique| CONSISTENCY & POWER Series (VIDEO 1/3)

If you're sick of spraying balls wide, missing easy put aways, and losing to pushers who just get the ball back and wait for you to miss, check out this training series. Ramon will show you the secrets to hitting a POWERFUL and CONSISTENT forehand... and you'll have fun in the process! Enjoy :)

In this video, you'll learn the first and most important move in hitting a dynamic, powerful forehand that wins you points.

The takeback, you'll learn is the move that makes the rest of the forehand work.

You'll learn to keep your non-dominant hand on the throat of the racket.

You'll also learn how to raise your elbow of your hitting arm slightly and a little away from your body.

Finally, you'll learn about how to line up your body for effortless power and complete disguise.

Enjoy!

Ramon I am gong out to "Pet the Dog" in the morning. The wall, I have issues. I always end up hitting my balls OVER the wall. Looking forward to your next video

Rick macci says keep the racquet head above the wrist and pull so he doesn’t drop the racquet and close the racquet face parallel to the ground. Rick just says pull when racquet head is above the wrist and it will make the racquet flip so you get a lot of power

If the ball is only on the strings for .004ths of second, how do time AND use/manipulate your wrist to control direction, speed, spin, height, and depth? And do all of this with your arm on a 45°angle at contact????

Are you saying that pros like Fed and Joker do this every single time they hit a FH? If so, please post slow motion video conclusively showing pros doing these things with their arm and wrist at contact to project the ball.

Look forward to your reply and evidence, a lot of coaches claim the wrist is not used in the way you suggest and that they hit well out in front, facing the net before contact, not facing a 45° angle with their body or arm.
