pro tip for all cirrus pilots: when landing just fly over the apron and pull the parachute! way easier and quicker

Amazing number of runway and taxiway crossings at a lovely original 40s style layout airport. I used it 30 years ago, it’s nice to see it apparently in a similar condition.

Actually, safest option is to go around no doubt, but if you're in a light aircraft landing in a big airport, dont worry if you are too high or worried of eating into the runway because the runways there are VERY long, more then enough, so you can float a little and still land with safe distance to spare, BUT, if your not on centerline, or not stabilized, just go around, its a good habit, I'm just saying you can try to go for it if you're a little high and fast, cause it might be your only good chance to land considering its a big airport

I trained for my PPL and CPL at Moorabbin in the 90s. It was busy but no issues really. The controllers slotted in most aircraft very well. It is more busy now?

Hey if it gets too busy and crazy at an airport just divert. The pressure to make that second landing is huge, if there was a reason to go around the first time, it's still a good reason the second and third and fourth time.
