60 Airplanes in 2 Minutes - London Heathrow Traffic Madness

This is my first video from London Heathrow. This video shows how short the distances between approaching planes at LHR are. The planes look like small bees coming back to their nest. Especially the Boeing 747 was shook around by some crosswinds on final approach.Thanks for watching and I hope you like it.

This has got to be one of the best airplane videos in Youtube. I don't usually like music soundtracks in airplane videos but this one went very well, it was an excellent choice. Thumbs up for the novel idea and first-class video.

This might be one of the most amazing and beautiful videos I’ve ever seen. I had to retrain my brain to see them as planes zipping into the picture instead of birds. It’s so cool to see how the wake turbulence affects the planes... you can tell that the plane coming after the 747 felt it!

They are 3 to 5 miles apart depending on the size of the plane, 3 miles laterally, or 1, 000 feet vertically apart, although it dose not seem that way. 5 Mile rule is applied laterally. You can see them backing up. Every 45 Seconds they take off and land at heathrow. 1. Heavy behind heavy- 4 miles. 2. Large/heavy behind B757- 4 miles. 3. Small behind B757- 5 miles.
4. Small/large behind heavy - 5 miles. 1, 400 flights take off and land – one every 45 seconds and nearly half a million per year. Nice Video.
