One-Fretless-String Guitar

On our upgraded new adjustable microtonal guitar v2.0, we can convert either any fret into fretless or any complete string. Could we use this feature to reinterpret the pieces in the guitar repertoire?

Villa Lobos! I wonder what he would've thought of this. The rising bass line sounds much like a cello (makes sense since he was a cellist), making that one string fretless just enhances that and makes it more cello-like. Wonderful.

Excellent invention! Sounds beautiful.

I met a guy who made something interesting, it was an auto bow... basically a thick rubberband that spun on a dismantled cassette tape recorder and applied to the strings...it actually worked and sounded quite well.

Prelude 1 is fine they way it is traditionally. That being said I would enjoy hearing a composition written for this type of guitar. It a bold idea and could be very effective. Go one my friend.
