As a fretless bass player I say: I 've been waiting to see someone taking full advantage of being fretless in a guitar. And by "taking full advantage" I mean using the same techniques we use on bass to get that unique sound out of the instrument.

This is the best use of fretless guitar I've come across so far!

Amazing. I've played guitar for decades, but there is no way I would be that accurate on the notes without frets. The single note runs I may be able to manage, but the chords would all sound out of tune. I can say with complete confidence, I would sound really bad trying this. A tip of my hat to you sir. I hope to hear the complete composition someday.

This is amazing and beautiful -- and the intonation is good. (The latter sounds like a backhanded compliment, but it is sincere -- the appreciation is born in part of my own struggles to play cello and fretless bass in tune!)

I would love to hear some melancholic blues out of it. Years ago I took out the frets of my classical guitar and tuned it to C5 (CGcgc'g'), what a sound! It's nice to hear it from a much better player than me!
