It was really awesome to go out and visit my local skate shop. The workers there were really cool and knowledgeable about skateboarding and the shop was really true to the culture.

I got my board last Thursday. Walked in with no prior knowledge but I know what graphic i wanted. The board was by Palace and they set me up with entry level trucks, wheels etc. They displayed the most expensive items and talked about how at the moment it doesn’t matter, to first figure out what I want from my board, it being speed, control or just smoothness. It was a bit expensive but to me it was worth putting together a board I wanted and how I wanted it at the moment. The nice thing is that you can swap things out so your board will almost always be unique. An extension of our personality

I always wanted to skate and the only thing I had back years ago was a penny and I never ride it be cause I was afraid of falling and didn't had the courage but now I bought a weeks ago my first skateboard with mushrooms style because I starter watch your vids and shorts on youtube and they helped a lot with my confidence and the board I love it! i learned to ride it for like in 2 weeks and I went to San Francisco to go visit my sister and bought a cruiser for moving around Town, was amazing, she bought a pair of skate that where on discount and meanwhile the arrived here on Berkeley I went to some skateparks like Berkeley skate park and the treasure island skatepark and other ones that I didn't knew but I had much of fun and lots of memories that will stay with me.
