How To Solve & Fix 'Client Has A PBO Not On The Server' DayZ PC Error, & Other Common PBO Problems

I recently had a PBO error that had me scratching my head, all due to the fact that i misunderstood where DayZ actually stores it's downloaded Workshop Mods.
In this tutorial video I show you how to really delete all of the files from a Mod, so that you remove all of it's files cleanly, ready for the DayZ launcher to repair and re-download.
The above info was believed to be correct as of DayZ Update Patch 1.21, May 2023.

Hey scale the modded DZSA will take you directly to the mod file. The vanilla launcher makes its own “shortcut” like you explained but the modded launcher uses the original pathway. Been having this issue all week myself.

i can't even find the mod file, every one still play normally but i can't because of some missing mods, and they are not in dayz workshop, even in !workshop file in computer, i can't see those mod but the server request them to play, how can i fix this?

does anybody have a real fix for this? I have been playing day z since before the beta release and have always been able to fix my pbo errors with deleting the mod or repairing, but now i have even tried completely uninstallind day z several times and it still doesn't work whatsoever. no methods are working at this time it seems

Is there any way to teleport the player so I don't get stuck in the bunker ?

Okay, let's say you did what you said....then OCTUPLE checked the server acts like a MORON and still gives that error....and what then? I see both systems with the same file, did all the clearing how you said, made sure both were updated....still the server is "special" it seems and doesn't get it...

All you have to do to fix this is verify integrity of steam files on dayZ>properties
