5:57 Daisy - yellow center, white edges
10:00 to get white cross
11:48 to get white corners - R U R’ U’
16:32 to solve corner trap
17:09 to get 2nd layer edges - L’ U’ L U
- find the edge with no yellow.
- 19:05 rotate the bottom two layers together until the colours matched.
- determine whether the edge need to go LEFT or RIGHT.

19:48 if moving edge to the right
U - RIGHTY - spin R - LFETY

20:44 if moving edge to the left
U’ - LEFTY - spin L - RIGHTY

23:23 top cross on 3rd layer

Different layout of yellow
23:52 line >> F - RIGHTY AL - F’
24:22 angle >> f - RIGHTY AL - f’
f = turn 2 front

25:08 dot >> use LINE >> Angle

25:47 Positioning the last layer of corners (3 cases)
1) in correct group of corners
2) correct position, but twisted >> swop corners 26:09 put corners on the right hand side
>>> RIGHTY x3 - spin R - LEFTY x3 <<<
3) to swop corner diagonally 29:13

30:48 after all corners are in correct position, twisting the corner

1. Flip the white on top
2. Put the corner, to be twisted, on bottom right 31:38
3. Repeat RIGHT AL until YELLOE corner is facing down 32:00
4. Perform D move to put the next corner in the ‘bottom right’ 32:14 repeat RIGHTY AL

34:03 positioning the last layer Edges

34:31 one Edge correctly positioned
Turn solved edge onto the front 34:50
>>> RIGHTY - LEFTY - RIGHTYx5 - LEFTYx5 <<<

36:48 no edges correctly solve

Without any hint of exaggeration, this is by far the best tutorial for solving the cube I have come across. Why?
1. All the possible options are clearly highlighted,
2. Clearly and well narrated and every progression simply constructed,
3. The idea is not to solve the puzzle but teach the necessary skills you need for all permutations.

I love it! I am 7 years late for the video but got all the benefit!

This is the ONLY video you should be watching as a noobie. I've watched all the others, and nothing comes even close to this. Not only is the video clear, the speaker coherent, but the speed, the graphics, and simplicity of the usage of algorithms is by far the best. Once you understand these methods, you can start replacing repeating steps with other algs, but there's no point doing that until you understand what's going on here. BRAVO - genius video.

Why this video is good
1.Awesome video
2.Easy understanding
3.Good vocal skills of narrator
4.Broken into steps

I solved it 4 times so far..
1st time: 4h
2nd time: 1h
3rd time: 35min
4th time: 16min (without help from this video)
It is very satisfying seeing yourself progressing. This is how everything works in life. The more you delicate on a task, the easier it gets ;)

So I'm 44 years old and never really wanted to learn this, but my kids insisted they wanted to do like the guys in the videos... so I looked up videos to teach them. Many videos. This is the first video I *finally* managed to do it !
Many thanks for the very clear explanations and metholody :)

Can you make the title of this something more click-baity so that it can compete with other tutorials? It's by far the best tutorial on YouTube that I've seen, so I want others to use it!

After buying my first cube on Monday, toying around with it. Found this tutorial, now, just a half hour ago I finally completed the cube! What an amazing feeling that is.

Thank you for the tutorial!🙌🏻

Damn, feels good to be back. This is where I first learned to solve the 3x3. Time really flies because now I average about 10-12 seconds every solve (with CFOP). Would have not been possible without the beginner's method 😁

Thank you! I followed your guide and memorized the moves.

I am now able to finish my rubiks cube. And have done so multiple times because of you.

My 5yr old got one for his birthday and kept it complete since he got it. His cousin came over and mixed it up, he was so upset. Thank you for this tutorial not only did i get the satisfaction of completing a rubix for the first i also got to restore for my boy!

This video made me realized that solving a rubik's cube is both much more simpler and much more complicated than I thought.

Thank you so much!!
notes for all:
Lefty algo: L' U' L U
Righty algo: R U R' U'
Spin right : right face to front
Spin left: left face to front
small letter f- spin 2 front layers together

First layer: to get a white sticker from top to bottom.. place the white sticker and top-front-right corner and do righty alg
for second layer-
get the - 0 -
L0R
000
To get 0 in top layer to R position : U Rightyalgo spinRight Leftyalg
To get 0 in top layer to L position : U' Leftyalg spinLeft Rightyalgo

for yellow cross:
1. Line - F Rightyalg F'
2. angle - top face looks like - - -
-00
-0-
f Rightalg f'
3. center dot: line + angle

Placing corners in correct position:
1. adjacent swap: rightalg*3 spinRight leftyalg*3
2. diagonal swap: adjacent swap * 2

for last layer(yellow face):
yellow face down- place yellow sticker to be twisted to front-bottom-right. do righty algo until yeelow sticker is correct. twist just bottom layer and repeat

for edges:
1. one edge correct: correct edge facing front and then Right algo + Lefty Alg + Rightyalg *5 + Leftyalg*5 ( sometimes require one more repetition)
2. no edges correct: same sequence as one edge correct

This year, I got two PB's - both under 10s. It all started 1½ years ago; with THIS tutorial. Of course I use a more advanced method for solving now - but this tutorial was enough to bring me under 1 minute, and as I was more bitten by cubing, I learned new things that allow for faster solve times. So thanks a lot Phil - I owe you a beer if you ever come to Denmark :)
