People always cite Scream as the definitive 90s slasher and rightfully so. BUT when it comes to the best of the 90s slashers that play it COMPLETELY straight, I 100% give it to I Know What You Did Last Summer. Scream is VERY satirical, I Know What You Did Last Summer is not and I think that might be why I prefer it ever so slightly. Absolutely fantastic film.
