It’s funny how almost every sport you only root for one team or one player, but in golf you find yourself rooting and hoping for good shots from all of them and love to see it when they make em.

I wasn’t old enough to appreciate prime tiger or Phil, so I’ll always be thankful that I got to experience both of them winning another major.

Underrated win by the media. One of the most historic and important wins ever

Phil Mickelson is truly one of the all time greats! A boyish assassin.

Haven't watched or followed golf in years, had no idea Mickelson even won this tournament before seeing this video, but seeing Mickelson win is so nostalgic and inspirational, brought tears to my eyes. Maybe I'll come back to watching golf again.

Someone yelling get in the hole on every shot might be the most annoying thing about golf

One for us senior old timers, thank you Phil for the thrill. I’m pulling my Scotty and putting in my 8813 back in the bag. What a fabulous Sunday it was. Much “ALOHA” to you, your family and caddie. Get your US Open win and revenge will you please😎

To Hear that sound of compression when Phil hits is an amazing note and tone all it's own. Inspiring!

Brooks was second to both Tiger in his legendary 2019 Masters win, and Phil in this tournament

Fab video - many thanks! Great to see the beast of Kiawah Island again in all its glory - fell in love with it in '91 during the "war on the shore" Ryder Cup

That trademark calm charisma Phil has, such a great player too watch.

7:10 best way to train for golf is to have someone yell in your ear "get in the hole" after every practice shot at the golf range.

11:26 Those people are braver than I am. If it was me hitting the ball, someone would be heading to the ICU

My Dad has always loved Phil, I love Phil and I bet $20 on this about 6 months before it happened in Las Vegas. paid $4020, I don't know what was better Phil Winning or the payout, Love you Phil. Btw made another $2200 playing craps before flying out of Vegas left with $6200!

I am just in amazement at how far Phil can still hit the ball. He was piping 320 plus yard drives on several of the holes. With his short game, that still keeps him competitive with guys on the tour half his age. What I really enjoyed seeing was Phil’s course management. You didn’t see him going for the “hero shot” as he might have done 15 years ago. He also was willing to take his medicine and accept a bogey when that was really the best score he could have made on the hole after an errant drive. In past, he would have taken a risky shot at the green and turned a bogey into a double or triple. It was great seeing a crowd that could actually add to the excitement of the event. Would love to see Phil get into contention next month at Torrey Pines and perhaps take home that elusive U.S. Open Trophy.

The game is better as result of this man's career. How many young golfers will be thought of that way when they're 51 years old? It takes humility, kindness to strangers, and talent.
