This one is probably the most memorable Masters for me. I was rooting for Phil!

"Is it his AT LONG LAST" This is why we love this great game. Goosebumps watching the finale on 18. The Masters is the greatest tournament in golf, and this for me is one of its many highlights down the years. Great call from Jim Nantz. Thanks for posting (from the home of golf).

It's been 16 years and I still can't believe he threw his winning ball into the crowd!

My all time favorite Masters. Ernie played as well as he possibly could, and KJ was right there too, but Phil just had an unreal back 9

I was too young to see the '86 Masters and even '97, so this is the one that sticks out in my mind as the greatest I've seen as it happened. As a huge Ernie Els fan, it was devastating when he lost, especially since he never got close to the green jacket again. But everyone loves Phil, right? What a champion!

Dan Jenkins said this one was the best Sunday Augusta ever had. It had everything: not only did Mickelson finally got the monkey off his back in epic fashion, he defeated another Els (not just anybody), who had TWO eagles(1:50:20 and 3:06:15); KJ Choi's extremely rare eagle at 11 (2:35:58) and unexpected long putt at 13 (3:08:49). Phil nearly holing it on 14 (3:35:26)... Possibly the biggest amount of roars-per-hour of any Sunday since '86!

Phil, Els, Choi: Arguably the crowd favorites of America, Africa, and Asia at the time, respectively. Ol' Langer from Europe with a strong showing (chip-in at 1 31:33 ) Plus, Harrington's ace at 16 (3:18:32) followed by ANOTHER ace in the very next group by Triplett (3:32:16). DiMarco's putt at 13 took forever to get the hole(3:25:32), and Phil getting the greatest break of his life when he got a perfect read from him on 18 (4:27:50). Young Sergio with an awkward interview after a strong round (he was gonna have to wait 13 more years to get the monkey off HIS back).

A really big, thank you to the Masters for putting these videos out here on youtube! Seeing them brings back some great memories and still, they feel so fresh. These episodes (seeing them once every week) are a perfect way to getting through the boredom created by this pandemic. Love it; Thanks! (Also) to you and all other golf-lovers out there. Take care and stay safe. We are going to get through this together! 💓👍

This is the best golf broadcast ever. I wanted Mickelson to win, but somehow the course and the players were so amazing that I sincerely rejoiced the successes of everyone. This was pure joy from beginning to end.

Hard to believe it's been 16 years. To me this seems like yesterday. I have to admit i was always an Els fan and am sorry he had never won a Masters; i can't say the same for Norman. What a great day this was, so much action and great play. I'll never forget this day.

Got to meet Phil at the 1992 Greater Hartford Open, right after he turned pro. I was volunteering at the tournament, manning a tent on the 9th hole handing out refreshments to the players and caddies during the Tuesday practice round. Was one of the nicest guys I met that day. Got his autograph on one of the quiet signs and still have it to this day, hanging up in my home office. Figure I have to get my Master's fix this way since the tournament has been postponed.

Hard to believe this happened almost 20 years ago. Arguably greatest Masters of all time. Great finish, great shots, crowd was on fire and Arnold’s farewell.

2:07. My favorite thing to hear every year as far as golf.

I had forgotten how exciting this tournament was, equal, in fact, to the Nicklaus win in ‘86, in my opinion. How could anyone not like Phil Mickelson? Such a boyish face, wry smile, mischievous and truly, one of the all time greats of the game.
