It was a sunny day in Berlin where I was living at the time in 2016 when I started watching it live. Thought to myself "I'll watch the first couple of holes and then meet with friends, enjoy some sun". I spent the entire afternoon watching these two legends have a go at it and I'm so glad I did. Best session of golf I have ever seen.

You'll never see a pair burn a course to the ground like this again in the final round of a major. Magnificent.

This was my favorite Sunday of any major in my life. So fun to watch these two go back and forth. They were both on fire.

Tom Watson said this topped his and Nicklaus un 77. I’ve never seen a twosome play a better final in a major! Brilliant.

This is and was the best golf match in the history of golf ware - Two players went heads up, scoring so low, and a 2 shot swing on the first hole. Long putts win tournaments, and Henricks' career was established as a champion golfer even if he never won a golf event again. It took a life's of energy to win against the best putter and chipper in the world.
Amazing. Applauds.

Henrik is one of the coolest dudes on the course. Has an awesome sense of humor as well. Anyone from Norway/Sweden/Finland seem to be very easy going and tend to listen before speaking. Kimi and Henrik are two of my favorite sports personalities.

I always think of Phil as having won 6 and a half majors. His play in this tournament was just exceptional. As for Henrik Stenson, not only did he win a major, the highlight of a golfer's career, he beat an All Time Great who was having a career week!

An absolutely outrageous round of golf from Stenson, -9 in the last 17 holes.

Probably the 3rd best major anyone has ever played and he still lost by 3. Absolutely insane

I remember watching this the day of. One of the most dramatic rounds of golf I've ever seen on a course I had played a few times. Some of the holes were unrecognizable from the back tees, and there was no run in the fairways, but it's a tremendous test of golf. Looking forward to The Open returning to Royal Troon this week.

I remember being gripped to this all afternoon, such a shame sky took coverage of the open so purple not interested in golf won't be able to just stumble across a round like this in future
