I’m just finding this video but it is so timely. I was having the same issues with my hair and started using both Rhassoul and Bentonite clays..My hair loves them both. I now use them once a week instead of traditional shampoos and my hair is flourishing🙌🏽

I use Avlon Organics clarifying shampoo every few months & a regular/gentle sulfate shampoo once a month & the rest of the time I use sulfate free cleansers from the Mane Choice & Carol's Daughter. I try to switch things up without having my hair squeaky stripped clean. Since I shampoo twice a week I don't have to worry too much about build up. Once the cold weather begins & I start to hibernate it will be once a week.
Thanks for this video.👍

Bentonite clay is great for high porosity hair. Baking soda is not recommended for high porosity hair. It's too harsh. High porosity hair is usually more fragile and dries out and breaks very easily. Clay also helps fix curl patterns...idky...but it revives curls. It's natural and honestly a very affordable, budget friendly option. :) Clay absorbs oil and toxins and also preps my hair to absorb moisture. It makes my hair so healthy!! 😉😉😉 I highly reccomend it. The jar is full of powder and it's 10$ . It lasts a long time.

I use ORS Creamy Aloe mixed with Ion Swimmer's shampoo to clarify and chelate. I follow with GVP conditioning balm under the dryer for 20-30 minutes. Usually once weekly. Once a month or so I add my oil mix to the conditioner for a boost.

I get these products from Sally Beauty, but they are available online as well.

Is it harmful and damaging to apply lemon juice on the scalp a minute before washing the hair? I saw a video that said it was good to remove dandruff 🤷‍♀️
