But where are save files on the hdd? For example, I saved resident evil save data thinking it was onto a memory card but it saved somewhere in the hard drive but it's totally I possible to find them...

Hello, I would like to transfer ps1 & ps2 save files to a ps3 recently purchased as a 3 in 1 console (with ps2 gpu & cpu). While I’m waiting for it to arrive, I’m trying to get the ps3 slim to read these files I just transferred from ps2 using FMCB/ulaunch. The copied files names do not add .psv as I notice when copying files I already have on the ps3 to usb stick, show as .psv. Can anyone help me understand what’s going on? I was hoping to avoid purchasing the ps2 memory card adapter for ps3 as people are trying to charge $80 plus for this $20 device.

I want to save games in memory card slot 2 in play station 2 because in memory slot 1 card i have installed macboot software my ps2 saves the file in memory slot 1 not in slot 2
