This is super late, but I think the problem most people are having is to do with the "Root/ID". You have to copy the EXTRACTED file name, not the original .psv file's. It detected the save after I did that.

For anyone else who is also still trying to load saves into PCSX, you have to download MYMC from the description of the video, then try to run the program.You will need to download two missing DLL files: msvcp71.dll & msvcr71.dll - Google the DLLs one at a time and find somewhere to download it, but be careful since sites will try to get you to download software instead of just this file. DLLME dot com worked for me, but again, be sure to only get the file ending in dll. I had to use two different sites to get both.

Put that file in the same folder as MYMC.exe, and run MYMC.exe. It will try to load a ps2 file. You have to pick your memory card from PCSX2 or any .ps2 file first! If you already have a save game from the same game that you're trying to put on there, it won't work. Use a new memory card or memory card 2. You can make a new one in PCSX2. After you open a good .ps2 file, MYMC will let you open/import the file you want. It will probably be a .cbs. It will insert that saved game into your memory card. Then you "insert" it into PCSX and load your save.

The cbs files aren't memory cards, just the game saves which go into the memory card files.

Well I did everything and the save shows up in the mem card in the PS2 menu. But when I go into FFX andtry to load it, it says no FFX data can be found

Dude, I play a game (dosent matter which one) and auto save saved my progress. I start the emulator in no disk mode to view the browser and memory card data. I see the game is saved. I go to documents under memory card but I cant open mmc1 or mmc2. I know i have to get this in the memory card in the other location of ps2 app, in order to import it, in order to load a saved game in iso mode... How?
