I used to have nightmares about numbers when I was a child. I’ve struggled with math my entire life. So, safe to say I might have this. It’s caused great difficulty. Only because in this world, most jobs require math on done level.
Wasn’t competitive enough to utilize my artistic and creative abilities to thrive.

Amazing information I could have used or at least identified earlier in life. I’m almost 64, so it’s no wonder I’m still struggling to thrive financially.

I have ADHD so I always thought I just sucked at math because I couldn't pay attention, and paying attention is essential for math, but I answered 12/12. I remember not being able to read the clock until I was 8/9, and reading the clock was taught to us when we were 7, I still remember how my mom would struggle teaching me while we seat at the backseat of our car and no matter how hard she tried I just couldn't do it. To this day I can't read a clock without counting each digit by five, so when someone asks me what the time is I still go "5, 10, 15, 20, 25, ..., 45. It's 9:45"

I know for a fact I have dyslexia and I recently heard that people with dyslexia have a high chance of having dyscalua. It makes so much sense. Math and coins and even dates are just so hard.

I've always struggled with numbers since early childhood. I was very good at music but it never transferred over to math in everyday life & schoolwork. Even as an adult, I'd learn a method that clicked with me & be doing ok and as soon as I pick it up, it would soon be forgotten & I'd struggle to figure it out again.

I just want to share about my son and his maths struggles too. He’s 9, and we have been told we have dyscalculia. I personally never heard much about it before. He would just hate math since he joined the school. Our friends recommneded us the dyscalculia program called Calcularis, and it's made a huge difference.
If your kid struggles with math like mine, I really recommend trying Calcularis. And if you need something for dyslexia too, Grafari is helpful for spelling and writing.

OH yes and yes, numbers are a foreign language I do not speak! I am so thankful to have a computer in my back pocket for a work around!

Its not the same as dyslexia to be clear. One of the main theories is it is a difficulty understanding the relationship numbers have. And dyslexia can effect your ability to process numbers because dyslexia is mainly about having a difficulty with symbols jumbling and looking similar. There are other symptoms to both but its the main reason for them.

I have dyscalculia, but I’m very good in mathematics. I have a master in econometrics, thanks to the calculator.
And have problems my phone number, postal code, bank account, 3 digit debit card number and so on.
Of course the time, but that’s also because telling the time is not logic in my native language.

Im great at memorizing things. Dont actually struggle with multiplication bc of it (up to 12 at least), but i cant do anything else at the level i should be for my age. Cant to basic math in my head and its incredibly hard to read numbers if not nearly impossible sometimes

You may have dyscalculia or dyslexia along with astigmatism for blurred vision
