I’m so dumb at maths im year 6 at school and I still don’t know how to divide by 2 digit numbers I skip out lines when I read and read the same lines I still use my fingers and can’t keep track of where I am in a paragraph and can’t remember basic things and can’t tell the time

I was taking an adhd assessment- with like an actual psychologist- bc I knew I had it my whole life but I needed the results for school adjustment and meds- I found out I not only had adhd BUT also dyscalculia😭

I genuinely got stuck on 5x5 yesterday. It took me 7 minutes to figure it out. I’m in 7th grade 😭

i have dyscalculia and i can’t count past 20 without pausing and thinking. AND i can’t count AT ALL past 100. multiplication, division, and subtraction aren’t even something that registers in my mind for 1 second.

I’m not diagnosed with but when we were doing are maths test which was 3x tables I still had to count with my fingers and if I got distracted I had to start again but what didn’t help was that the teacher read it so fast I only got 13 because half of them were not done

I count on fingers sometimes, but that's when I have been doing math for some time and my brain tires out. I have a low brain ram, but can figure out math enough not to worry about dyscalculia.
