Apple just released the brand new 27 inch iMac for 2020. This thing is an absolute beast of a computer, and does it make the current iMac Pro obsolete?

I am definitely planning on getting one of these new 2020 iMacs but i'm not so sure on whether to get the standard glass option or the Nano-texture glass option. Does the Nano-texture glass make the display less sharp compared to the standard glass? Whats your opinion and which one would you get or prefer?

Dude, I am just stuck in my decision. I was about to buy iMac 27 inch 5K top end soon but realise it is not worth paying. I am first time buyer. If you can suggest me best IMac desktop. Thanks

I agree with you. This also goes for both android and pc users thinking that you have to just put stuff in to make it powerful. What they do not understand is the technology and efficiency behind apple and what the apple engineers had taught this through software and hardware-wise.

If I were to get one I would buy: Glossy Panel, 8-Core, 8GB RAM(upgrade myself), 5700XT, 1TB SSD, 1Gbit. I think that's the best value.

As a professional the iMac Pro gives you two full lanes of thunderbolt 3.

I went with the 8 core 3.8 GHz 1tb SSD. I didn't get 10 gigabit Ethernet and kinda regret it but oh well

Apple education can save $200 seems a good deal plus $199 with Final Cut Pro, logic X and 2 other programs
