As an INTJ sitting with my laptop in the corner of an unfurnished room, I grace you with my approval.

"The world moves faster than your plans".
As an INTJ that hit really hard.
It's a realization/lesson I learned years ago and it's still something I'm contending with accepting.
The ENFP bombdrop at the end was gold.

I love how older INTJ is still very clearly an INTJ lol

INTJ in her 30’s here. Talking to younger INTJ’s feels a LOT like this, lol. “Accept that you have emotions or they’ll rule you.” “FEELER PROPAGANDA! Not a real INTJ!” etc.

“Everyone in this universe looks exactly like me.” Just wow.

Me throughout the whole video: “I wonder if some of that character development of the INTJ happened because of a marriage to an EXFP” and then the ending happened. I couldn’t be happier

The genuine fear in INTJ's eyes after learning she gets married to an ENFP

0:46 The Time machine was invented by INTP and INTJ refuses to acknowledge it. The other way she found was stealing the Time machine

The younger INTJ is more recognizable as a meme of their type. So in the mature version, I was looking for a good balance of the trademark cocky air of confidence, and the realization that relationships and taking care of themselves do matter... and I was not disappointed.

I especially liked the "shocking news" the mature INTJ left off, delivered with unexpected brightness in tone, that does suggest character growth.

Now is this gonna be a new series? Or is this an INTJ special one-off?

I hope that you repeat this concept 15 more times, Kristin!

INTJ Sounds like an edge lord and future INTJ grew out of it and cringe from their past actions. 😂

2:04 "They won't" is the only appropriate answer, young Intj, I am proud of you. Don't listen to her

As an INTJ, I feel personally called out by this video:

I’ve saved the vast majority of all the money I’ve made and spend very little of it, except on necessities, an occasional board game that catches my eye, and books (one of the few expenses I can always justify to myself, as I consider it an investment in my happiness, and sanity)

I often go 24 hour periods without eating, simply because it is inconvenient/ not part of my routine, but I am working on that.

I admittedly am somewhat distrustful of others, but I would say my caution is justified. Trust is something to be earned over time, and it never hurts to have contingencies and back up plans.

I do admittedly focus more on my inner/ fictional worlds than the physical world sometimes. In the past, most days I went to university I only spoke to answer questions in class and thank the bus driver, while spending hours reading, and thinking about hypotheticals. My occasional obliviousness to certain things in the physical world has proven… inconvenient, on occasion.

As an INTJ married to a ENFJ, I approve and wonder how this unplanned aspect of my life happened...

The coffee went down the wrong pipe when I heard the future INTJ being fine and married to an ENFP. Saw my life flash before my eyes in two different ways, leaving a like as we speak.

Also, I just got myself a bed frame and mattress after six-ish years of sleeping on the floor and I guess spending money isn't that bad.

I love this entire concept, my younger INFJ self would have A LOT to say to my current self! 😁

Oh, marrying an ENFP means my struggles with low Ne and lacking random ideas during writing are solved, I have a constantly available brainstormer! Great! (also, awesome video as always)

From an INTJ,
Many things the video got right:
1. I developed a code for interaction with a time traveled version of myself when I was in high school.
2. My apartments have been incredibly sparse for furniture (until I got a stable job as an adult) except for bookcases and a bed. (People were also amazed I did not own a toaster for much of my life.)
3. One of my deepest fears is the loss of my computer--mostly because that means that I would lose all my data I've been working on forever. This has happened a couple different times during my life and it is debilitating.
4. I would have been terrified when I was younger to be married to an extravert. However, having come to know ENFPs better now, I understand why having them in my life as an INTJ is beneficial.
5. Breaking the fourth wall: without the code given by a time traveled version of myself, I would think this is a trap or experiment.

Things the video got wrong:
1. I would have never asked to know the future or how to time travel because I knew this would have created unstable paradoxes. It is not rubbish.
2. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be married but not until I was ready for it.
3. The first laptop I bought myself was named Mimir after the giant's head. Odin killed him and took his head to speak his knowledge while Odin traveled. (My phone was named Mercury, the messenger of the gods.) I did not have a Star Wars phase.

Something halfway right:
I have been called arrogant but I contest that I am not being arrogant, merely laying out the rational and empirical evidence available. Even as a mature INTJ, I can recognize that people hate bare facts.

I NEVER want to meet a future me. They’d just be incredibly smug about knowing things I don’t.

I'm a 37-year-old INTJ, and ALL of the social/people skills advice older INTJ gave to their younger selves is VALID. Learn how to let go (meaning don't be so guarded, reserved, and withdrawn) and make friends (because, yes, you'll need people) . It's been truly rewarding to sense more of a balance between my cognitive functions and my social life. EXCELLENT WORK, KRISTEN! ❤

However, with all due respect, I am NOT marrying an ENFP. ✌🏽
