safe can have up to 800,000 different combinations, and it can take up to six days to open. Safecracker works by cycling through every possible combination until the door opens, but it's not the device that knows when to stop, it's the mechanics of the lock that stops the tool.

Seen this before. Its called "brute forcing" the way it starts at the lowest combination and tries every one from there. You can even program it to try all the common ones first before it starts low.

Great tool, funny comments too 🤣 I'm a lock technician, this lock doesn't jam after a couple of tries and you can't hear when a number is in the right position, it's mechanic, the three separate wheels needs to be aligned for the lock to open.
There's also a lock with an extra wheel inside, making this a 4 numbers (well, 8 in total) combination lock

Because literally no human on earth chooses the last possible combination, it takes WAY sooner than 6 days.
And if you think, I'll just use the last combination.... that's the first series the code tries.

Ive made these with a small contoller and a stepper motor. Some simple programming and you can make it cycle through any dial.
