I looked this up bcuz I’ve been rejected from so much in my life. At 58 I’m forced into living space I don’t think is fair and jobs that are demotions. Life is a rejection factory these days. I can’t really have a relationship because the guy I fell in love with was getting married! He was too young. But connecting with the opposite sex has never really been what I wanted and/or needed. I think prom is at a point in life where expectations are high and maturity is low. Just go with the flow and love yourself. I’m struggling with that too…so love God. Go to prom with Him. He won’t reject us.
