I should of mentioned this in the video. I forgot people always assume the worst in people. I did NOT sell any games/toys/art/or anything else that was gifted to me. Even when I was told I could. I still have the Action 52 Jason gave me in one of the Canadian episodes. My nightly streams are played on the custom painted blue/lightning NES gifted to me also in Canadia. I can list stuff all day.

I sold off most of my games years back. At the end of the day, if they ain't being played, whats the use of having them?

I’ve never sold a game in over 30 years. Can’t bring myself to do it.

With emulation of older games being so easy these days, I can't blame you for getting rid of some games, and just keeping the ones you really want.

Looking for the games again will make it new game+

I understand that dude! As a collector I knew my stuff was gone the second I needed to pay bills. The move to California caused me to sell my whole collection! But now I am more stable and will be building back up!

if you have 1/3 of the fervor in the 2nd round of looking for games as you did pre-movie, I'd be surprised. The Games Chasers are in the end game now. thnx for the ride, guys

Whatever you get rid of just gives you a chance to find it again in another Game Chasers episode!

The fact that you guys decided to sell off parts of your collection to help fund the movie really shows how much you believe in it. And that is so admirable considering the memories certain games have from the show and real life.

Highly respect that Jay and although its not always easy to sell off parts of the collection (buyers remorse) you can always find stuff again like you said. It will definitely be interesting to see how chasing and haggling years later will be for future episodes. And I'm sure us fans will also play a hand in helping you guys rebuild it as well. Why? Because the "CHODE NATION, OH WHAT A NATION!"

Maybe the video game bubble will pop and we’ll get games for $2 at the flea market again. 😂

So what did you do when people started haggling for a better price, that would of been interesting to see.

You don’t need to explain yourself Jay, people will always judge. Making your film is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Even Kevin Smith talks about how he sold his comic book collection and maxed out his credit cards to make Clerks. I can’t wait to see the movie man! Thanks for the videos you make, watching you all has been a great escape from some harsh realities I’ve experienced recently :)

Totally understand. I’ve never had a collection like any of you guys, but I have started thinking of pairing down my stuff so that I can do other things in life I want to do.

Ive been cheering for you guys to get closer and closer to complete sets all these years and for you to just sell most of it makes it seems wasted. Seeing you guys buy games we've seen you buy before isn't going to be as fun. This sucks, it's like we're going backwards. At least you kept the complete N64, that's a relief.

You’re doing the same thing Kevin Smith did but he sold his comic book collection to film Clerks.

just like you said, you can always buy them again

He's trying to get enough money together so he can afford to cast Pat in the movie.
