Watching theory vids always makes me feel really dumb

You may as well have been speaking German

Great examples! You didn't just stick to the usual progressions which fit perfectly in a key. Thumbs up!

Also, could you please do a video on improvising over chord changes using modes? Please?

0:48 under the bridge is one of my favorites! 🤘🏻 I wanted to learn that verse chord progression like that.

Tyler, Back In Black is actually E Dorian. If you listen carefuly to the song, you can actually hear the A chord is an A major chord. The vocal melodies and the solo also indicates E Dorian. I can definitely hear a C# in the progression, meaning the notes of the scale are E F# G A B C# D. Just my humble opinion :)

When you realize that Radiohead doesn't have keys.

A meagre 9 months of experience under my belt and I'm sitting here thinking I've got it covered... *A wild Paranoid Android appears*

It is so weird seeing this being applied to music nowadays, I'm in music theory II and literally...learning all this with classical piano music, Mozart, Chopin, etc

I've always been a rocker, VH, Nuno, Paul Gilbert, Vito Bratta etc but I absolutely love Jonny Greenwoods work with Radiohead! listening to The Bends album through headphones is just a lesson in guitar brilliance :-)

Man I love the fact you heard and you started throughing theory vids to us noble crowd. Keep up sharing info I also loved the fact that you played Wherever I may roam. I only know the intro of the song and haven't played it for quite a while. Keep the theory up bro.

So can you actually improvise over the progression of paranoid android if you don't know each individual chord?

Hey Tyler, you didn't tell us the key(s) of the last chord progression. I really wanna know how it modulates and the theory behind it...

@MusicIsWin Now for the beginners, since these were pre-analyzes since you played them after doing what I would have rather seen. That would be to find a tone that sound right them adding the chord tones and moving on till a possible scale assumption is possible.
I usually find it hard to hear if the song really is played major/minor for example.
