Welcome to "Thoth teaches Hieroglyphic writing" .
This episode will introduce some basic terminology to better understand the different types of hieroglyphic signs. There are 3 main categories: Phonetic signs (signs that represent sound, like the alphabetic), Logograms (signs that describe a whole word) and determinatives (signs that explain the meaning or the context of the word).
this is an introductory series and will act as a beginner step into understanding the ancient Egyptian language.

I would recommend you btw to encourage/ask people to subscribe, no matter how scummy it is. It really works to get more people to subscribe. By releasing videos with all the shorts combined + some extra in-depth info you could use the subs to get some real income.
