The hieroglyphs say that it is "The god Harsomtus, in the form of a snake, emerging from a lotus flower attached to the bow of a barge. Harsomtus is in an oval container called hn, which represents the womb of the goddess Nut." But I think it is a cathode ray tube used to produce microwaves to heat up the Pharao's lunch.

I once saw a depiction where there were two parallel lines like the ones we imagine that could present the curvature of the spacetime and one crossing line depiticig the meaning of life. Two seconds later I realised it was the letter H.

OR (and just hear me out) perhaps the lotus, that could get you high, was perceived as administering wisdom because snakes represented wisdom pretty much everywhere and especially Egypt (cobra was protection, though) Every stoner I know is a part-time philosopher. I don't know why Egyptians would be different.

No smoke soot has ever been found on the ceiling of any pyramid. So if they used torches, were the soot?

That's not a lightbulb. That's not a vacuum tube, either.

Read the hieroglyphs around it, they apparently say what it actually is. Not a light bulb.

A lotus flower suggests water, water snake, hoses, water jet? We can cut stone with water.

I remember reading about a 10th century account of electric lights being used underground in Egypt & when touched they went out.... thought it was interesting

They were so brilliant they used electric eels as light filaments in water-filled glass bulbs.

Respect!

If they had that light there...was it the only one in existence? How come it didn't become mainstream for lights for the builders?

Their Pyramids had lighting throughout all those years ago. We are the ones who need to catch up technology

You don’t have to have aliens for ancient civilization to have had electricity.

Having electric lights was so boring and unuseful to the ancient Egyptians that they went back to a single flickering flame for light. Then they got rid of any and all evidence of electric lights, except one carving.
Yeah.. that sounds totality believable.

😂😂😂... um... No... the temple design would not support this hypothesis... just familiarity...

I don't think it was ancient astronauts but a older civilization that we have forgotten about.

It's very possible. We know that we can generate electrical current using fruit so its quite believable these guys knew how to do this
