Uh oh, i wonder who this inconspicuous character is and what is his relevancy to the game. I love Noise's old design decorations.

I have vivid memories from years ago of listening to this specific song on loop for like

Yes, it seems that initially Noise played the role of Knuckles, and his theme. I mean it's really sounds like style of "Theme of Knuckles" but without those ass crushing genesis drums, however also cool. Really, the most relative I can compare is proto theme of Knuckles or Release theme of Knuckles, it's something in middle.

By the way, those sounds after "Woag" sounds like destruction of something, like when Knuckles blows up Launch Base.

Just imagine how Peppino runs into the Tower, then Noise jumps out of the ground and hits him, knocking toppins out of him, and then collecting them, chucking or "Woag", and running away.

How The Noise throws him into the portal for the second lap or blows up Pizzascape.

And imagine how, after a battle with him, Pizzaface steals his... bomb? and flies away.

This sounds like theme of a supervillian who just causes mild inconveniences for people without commiting any actual crimes.
Like untying peoples’ shoelaces, spilling drinks all over the floor, or putting chewed gum on peoples’ chairs so that they sit on it accidentally.

A good example would be the batman villain: “the bad samaritan”, who is apparently a real batman villain who existed at somepoint.
