Pizza Tower OST - Pumpin’ Hot Stuff (Boss 3 The Noise)

The name probably refers to Peppino's blood pressure when The Noise is on-screen. I suppose "Pumpin' " instead of "Pimpin' " is to distinguish it from the Strongcold Christmas version.

I've got to hand it to this game, the whole The Noise boss fight does an amazing job at feeling like a grudge match where both Peppino and The Noise have been waiting YEARS to have. The fact that the design of his attacks encourages you to taunt him back just as much as he's taunting you, the fact he has nearly no defensive maneuvers so the fight is the two of you throwing yourself face-first at each other over and over again, the Sonic CD style boss theme keeping up a deranged energy that only escalates with intensity as the fight goes on, the phase change boiling down to The Noise trying to psyche Peppino out (who's somehow found something MORE to be pissed off at with the balloon crashing in the transition), the goofy and stupid setting of a public broadcast of their fight, it comes together to manage to feel like the two are settling a score in the most violent and anger-filled way possible. This game's bosses are generally great with their atmospheres, but I think this one gets it across my favorite, because HOLY SHIT, you completely get JUST how much these two VISCERALLY HATE each other

I find it really funny that you can damage the Noise right at the start of the fight if you immediately (like frame perfect) lunge toward him, as if Peppino's first instinct is to GO FOR THE THROAT!

Phase 2 makes sense in my opinion.
The balloon crashes into the stage, taking out the cameramen. Then, you start to see Noise using more lethal weapons since he's technically off camera.

If you notice peppino actually hits noise harder as with every enemy you only push them with a charge meanwhile with noise he gets pushed farther

I used to think that this song was dynamic and skipped to the second part (0:55) when you reached phase 2. It wasn't until after I learned some speed tricks that I found out that it's static and you can get there before the music. That's just proof of the impeccable boss design in this game, because they MADE it so an average player on an average pace fight will reach phase 2 when the song changes.

He is so catastrophically annoying that I cannot consistently figure out a pattern unlike the other bosses that's honestly quite impressive

I think that the laughts between min 1:02 and 1:11 represent Peppino (the first one) and The Noise (the second one, this we know with the same voice saying "its The Noise-a!", leaving the first to be Peppino's).

These shows that, despite being sworn rivals and that they will kick each others butt at the slightest chance they can get, they enjoy their fights and the adrenaline coming from them, thus the laughs.

Perfect frenemies, if you ask me, can't wait for the multiplayer.

Can we all agree the start of phase 2 with the laughter and “it’s The noise!” Is an amazing start to a phase 2 because it gets the adrenaline pumping
