If you're trying to remember something word for word, read it upside down. I remember having to memorize a large monolouge and I did this and it worked surprisingly well

another thing that works with active recall, is to try copying whatever you're trying to memorize, it's better than just reading and recalling, if you copy it a couple of types before hand it'll be easier for your brain to grasp it and memorize it as both you eyes, brain, and hand is memorizing it also read in a loud voice, or like you're reading and explaining it to someone else...I use these when studying for my exams, I've been doing this since middle school so yeah it helps

Hey guys! I was wondering how much being in National Honors Society will impact my resume? (Assuming I have meet qualifications to get in every year of high school, and just decide not to join it). From what I've heard and seen it doesn't seem like they do much in the society, and is mostly just seen as a fee every year that makes your college resume look good.

I heard this psychology trick for remembering. While you are studying, eat something weird like, idk just something weird and unusual. Then, while doing the test, eat that same weird food. It helps you remember, apparently. I haven't tried it so you are just gonna have to try it without my seal of approval, but just try it. You have to be curious. The only reason we are still alive today is because we were curious. Also, it makes sense because you will be reminded of what it tastes like, and the way memory works is that, for example, I take a sip of coke. Now I take a sip of coke a couple of days later. Now that is the only proper way to remember an experience. Do it again, and by eating that food you remember what happened, therefore helping you remember.

When you said five, I got so surprised because here in Germany 🇩🇪 1 is the best grade it’s like an a and 6 is the worst grade because it’s like an F and I guess 5 would basically mean a D 😂

If this doesn’t work try giving yourself a mini quiz and repeating it until you memorize all of the content. This is very useful for vocabulary memorization. Writing things down is a proven way to remember them.

ive been told this trick since first grade so i dont know many other ways
