1:30 that kick catch hurts me…I mean a kick catch is a real technique but this was done badly and they through so fast it is not good for teaching. But you should move away from the kick as catching it so you don’t get 100% of the impact. Also sweeps usually require you to get closer. PRACTICE actual techniques often and with a partner who will give some resistance rather than do half the work for you like the guy in this video
