Yes, it's worth it. As long as you're fine with the outcome, nothing else matters. ❤

I don't like waste, either. Yes, it was worth it 👍. Good job

Some boards and some firewood. You win.

Anything is worth it if it can be used. Thank you for keeping this craft alive.

I enjoy your channel. Even a few good boards are worth the effort and time. Factoring in the wood pulp and firewood the profit may be small but the reduction in waste is well worth it.

Sure it's worth it, I hate wasting wood myself, good job 👍

It’s worth it. I’ve milled some pretty rough looking logs and got some really nice boards out of them. Just wanted to say that is one nice mill you guys have there !

my grampa made a living with his sawmill in the 50s -60s watching him work was amazing for a kid to see

Haha! No problems with heart inclusion in those boards! Nature took care of it for the customer. Outer rings are the best part of the tree.

You are like one of those educational channels from the 90s.

Watching this channel is incredibly therapeudic, and has helped with my depression. Studying aviation and flying on big jets is another thing of mine, and other subject matter, but there's something about logs and Lumber Capital that keeps me grounded (ironically)😊

I'd listen to you read the obituaries from someplace I've never heard of, and I enjoy it...

These are great logs to mill out into live edge. Generally the 1st ones sold when I do a batch of live edge slabs are the ones that have rot and holes throughout the center, epoxy pours and more

The effort you put into your work still looks beautiful.

Just getting to watch you two is worth it.

Jade, Hello. Depends on what you value your time at. Cost of running the mill for a couple or a few good boards. Sometimes just cut it into firewood and cut some quality lumber in it's place.
Figure out the value of those logs in firewood, add the value of those few good boards. Then determine if your time is better spent on good logs. Only you know.

The trees effort to grow the wood should be appreciated and utilized. Kudos to saving as much wood/lumber as you can. Anyone can chip a log or chop it up for firewood, but the mill that makes lumber out of a seemingly worthless log is the ticket!!

Thank you for being modest and not showing your a$$ in skin tights for attention on social media. I respect you for that. Regardless of your content. 😊

Hey, It's worth it on the bad logs. Old topic question:: What are the results on the breaking saw blades? What are you doing about them? Curious minds want to know.
