I never cared much for the competitive scene. The Noko line are my precious bois and they always have a place in one of my teams.

If my memory serves me right in the original JP release of YW3 Starry Noko used to just be a prize from Five Star or Special Coins. Really can't understand the choice to make him a Streetpass exclusive in localization, especially when the localization came out pretty late in the 3DS's lifespan.

He could also take the Sovereign Sash and Orcanos (Boss Form) soul in Blasters to make him extremely OP

I've been thinking for awhile about this team involving panda and starry. First you give panda 2 asura souls, and leave him in the front to be damaged, then you bring him back so he can make more benefit of the heavily increased spirit. At the same time, you can get a dummkapp inspirit along with one from starry noko as it's pretty good from what I hear. I would put an ancient enma with a stealth soul right next to the panda in the back to act as a physical attacker and to finish off guys that pandanoko doesn't get. One Fuu 2 could stay in the back to make the pandanoko more effective, and as for tanks, I still haven't decided yet. Same for healers, if any.

They aren't rare anymore, the distribution of Hacked Pandanoko made it normal to see. I myself have a Pandanoko named "Saul Goodman" Which is over the character limit.

PandaNoko gives a tier 3 Clu-T-Fact up, I think that’s pretty worth it.

YKW 2 Pandanoko and YKW Blasters Starrynoko are some of my favourite yo-kai to use ever. Double Cursed Sword Pandanoko is the i think strongest yo-kai (in terms of strength) in the entire game and Blasters Starrynoko is the most versitile yo-kai in the whole game. You could use Oni Smasher Sky, Zazel soul and basically become Arachnevil 2 with FBA and Ultra Forcefield or you could run Moonlit Bauble Starrynoko to be more of a supporter/healer

Pandanoko apparently could out-damage Gargaros in Ykw2 due to his 2 item slots lol

I consider Pandanoko still valuable, not in competitive but in the befriending sense. He's like the popularity Yo-Kai, God awful in competitive but essential to obtaining Yo-Kai. He was crucial for trying to get golden wisps more often back in the day especially in 1 with the rare Yo-Kai. Obviously, he's rendered more useless in 3 cuz of Forbidden Fruit but at least he has a legacy behind him as a befriender

Pandanoko was powerful in Yw2 he's also a victim of Yw3 big sets of nerfs

I hate how in yw3 they axed blasters menu and combining all 3 games into one cartridge dust to give us only sukiyaki so they don’t put in the transfer data option that copies and clones yokai. This would’ve helped with giving away panda and starry nokos to people that don’t have them. But god forbid we can’t make them accessible as all the other rare yokai that are dangled around like keys.

Well, when a Yokai can heal you by simply SMILING, you start to wonder if Pandanoko’s only using 0.001% of his power

i had to mod my other 3ds witch took me all night because of my shitty computer then i had to download the game on that 3ds it took me weeks to get them just to complete the medallium

You can also turn them into souls and then fuse their souls together to get the Summoner's Soul which doesn't do anything in multiplayer

Wonder why ppl always think that if something is very hard(rare) to get, that it is great for comptitive.
I would say it would be a nightmare if they are great for comp. because, if only a few have one, there is a HUGE disadvantage.
It's more for the collection.

tl:tr Making very rare monster good in competitive = not good.
