I always ask 'please show me a yes" then thank the pendulum. Then i ask 'please show me a no' then thank the pendulum. Then I ask my questions... If returning the next day I would then again ask the pendulum for a yes and a no in the same way as often my energy is different and who i have interacted with that day.. When I have used my pendulum, I have always rested my elbow on a solid surface and deliberately prevented my fingers, hand, and arm from visibly moving. It is much more impressive and reliable that way.

Actually, I tell my pendulum to show me yes, and show me no. It will tell you it's way of saying yes or no. When it's not sure, it will go diagonally. It's always better to either tell it how you want it to say yes or no, or ask it what yes or no looks like to get true answers.

I had a friend that used this technique to ask how many children she will have and the gender. If it moves back and forth, for boy, and in a circular motion for girl. She did it and it moved in circular motion and then stopped, then it continued again in circular motion and it stopped. This time it didn’t move again at all. What alot of people in my culture do is hang the pendalum on a rod/stick, let the rod rest on your hands and your hands rest on your knees. This is done while sitting down with your feet on the ground. This helps avoid skepticism because the knees do not move like the arms.

I've used pendulums for many years, I'm a Reiki Master & use them when I'm doing healings, aligning chakras, finding negative areas (sometimes using dowsing rods) etc. I'd been using them for a long time but 9 years ago a very gifted, very old man taught my mother & I dowsing (with pendulums & rods, we both scored 100%, we were chuffed 😊), he'd been using them professionally for 60 years. After his lessons I've retained a few of the ways I've used pendulums but mostly using ways he taught, inc- holding them correctly, how long the string/chain should be, how to pose questions, how heavy it should be, whether they're crystal or metal, feeling the energy coming from it up the string/chain & into the fingertips etc. I also learnt to use it for other purposes & in different ways I hadn't done before. As well as giving yes & no answers (always start by asking it to show you yes, then show you no as it be different for others), you can ask it to stop moving by saying, "show me neutral", for me it stops moving or changes direction immediately. We need to bond with our pendulums, clear/cleanse them then program it, like with crystals. You can say things like, "thank you for always giving me answers that are aligned with Love & Light & are for the Highest Good...", or even just thank it for giving you correct answers. My wonderful, beloved teacher said most people shouldn't use pendulums & I know what he meant. More often than not, we can have a feeling (maybe subconsciously) about what the answer is & pendulums can tell us what we already know, or think we know. That's a big reason why but another is how it's being used, for what reasons it's consulted & for the types of questions some people ask. As far as answers, I only want 3 responses- yes, no (or positive, negative) or neutral to stop it's swing. It shouldn't give "maybe" like some say because it's their purpose to give an answer, they're divinatory tools, otherwise there's no point to consult them. Think about it, "maybe" means it doesn't have an answer, defeating it's purpose?? Just a thought, just my & my teacher's opinion 😘 If you're using it correctly & not for negative purposes & you're not getting a clear answer (aka for some people, getting a "maybe", lol) do this... put the pendulum down & step away from the table 😁 Seriously, it means the energy's scattered, the question's already been asked (asking again means doubt), whatever it is, it's not the right time so put it away & consult it later. Important- please be careful, I personally know a few people who had big problems due to consulting their pendulums for the wrong reasons, then confirming what they suspected & it was wrong!! Keep your pendulum on you, sleep with it & lastly, it can take years for you to receive 100% accurate answers, 100% of the time. Blessings from Aus 🙏💖

I use a necklace that has a weight on the bottom of it but I'm telling you there's something moving it I can feel it tugging and pulling it's not my subconscious mind doing it cuz I'm not even asking it any questions and I mean this thing will move crazy ways it'll actually lift up I don't know my gut's telling me something's moving it but I do have paranormal activity in my house so maybe that's why I think it's actually my Spirit guides doing it.
