Are those 55 all healthy care workers and long term care center residents? How many healthy workers died in BC. How many covid-19 infected died at home so far? if the number died at home were not accounted in your report, you are not saving the majority people in our communities. We don't want to guess everyday, we want know the truth!

31:00 Great question. Dr? Henry should have started that process months ago. Just reacts to everything. No real leadership or proactive measures are ever taken. She should be ashamed.

There were at least 3, 000 infections in B.C. 3 weeks ago. This is how you can determine this in the absence of adequate testing:

It takes about 3 weeks from the time of infection to the time of death. So, the current deaths represent the state 3 weeks ago, and we know the mortality rate is about 1%, therefore you multiply the current deaths by 100 then you have the number of infections as of 3 weeks ago. Next, to bring that forward we know that with a R0 = 3 that the number of infections doubles every 6 days which means as of today the actual number of infections in B.C. is 24, 000.

BRILLIANT IDEA !!!
If you don't have enough tests, why don't we divide all working people in to mandatory 3 groups, one group works 5 days, second group isolates for 5 days, third isolates for 10 days, then you revolve this around repeating it. After 5 days first group isolates for 10 days and second works 5 days etc. etc. Anybody showing symptoms gets isolated for 10 additional days. This way you only risk 33.3% of people not whole 100% of them. You could even do that in hospitals, you don't need everybody there everyday anyway. I would even make those people that work those 5 days, have to do shopping only on those days, later they have to isolate for 10 days. If we implemented that from day one, all would have been over by now, no tests needed at all. Furthermore, I would make employer pay 33.33% of wages, government would pitch in another 33.3% of employee wage, and employee will pitch in by not collecting 33.3% of what they would normally get pay, no harm done they only work 5 days then take 10 days off, every 15 day cycle. This should be implemented globally right now. Punch line is only 33.3% of people at any given time would interact with each other that work and do shopping, rest 66.6% would be in mandatory isolation. Spread of Covid-19 would be reduced by more then 66.6%, that would buy us time to fight back.
DR. Deena Hinshaw, do little experiment on us. =)
PROBLEM SOLVED !!!

How many people were diagnosed with cancer, how many children were diagnosed with cancer, and how many people died of cancer today? This is not making sense!!!

Population density will be the reason that Canada will not see the same rate of infection like NewYork, not your negligent governments policies who will take credit for it.
NewYork has a population density of about 27, 000 people per square kilometre while Vancouver has a population density of about 5, 400 people per sq km. A square kilometre is about 8 city blocks by 8 city blocks. Imagine adding another 22, 000 people every 8 square blocks.

It is always significantly more challenging to plan and prepare for an emergency while you’re in the middle of an emergency.

@ 10:00 I was waiting for Dr. Henry to come out in a top hat with a cane while doing a little dance across the stage before giving the update.
