Cornering is one of the most difficult aspects of riding to perfect, especially when the turn has long, deep ruts. With a few tips you can be practicing solid technique that will have you tearing around those rutted berms in no time. keeping your inside knee tucked up tight against the shroud and your toe pointed inwards really helps keep you balanced in the rut

My struggle is trusting the sidewall of the ruts, and berms. I can’t shake the feeling that the dirt is going to collapse just as *I* ride over it. It’s irrational. I know. But I’m getting better.

Select a better rut for next lap using your peripheral vision with the other riders as indicators. Fitting a series of rut selections whilst brapping your way to slay your rutted presence can keep you busy.
