Great show, Cam! It was nice to have a little bit longer one this time. Oh – my little granddaughter is eight, and she has begged me for the longest time to “keep an eye out for a baby possum that you can kidnap from its mommy!” She has loved possums since she was little bitty, no matter how much the big ones will hiss and show their teeth, she thinks they are just the sweetest and cutest things in the world. One of my nephews has one that was a rescue from mama being hit by car. He and his wife have had it for a couple of years now and it’s just the sweetest thing in the world. Anyway, I’m rambling, but I really enjoyed the show. Thank you.😊

Oh how it warms my heart to hear of others loving ole ugly possums! My sister and I raised 7 baby possums once. Their mother had been run over on her head but all of the little pink babies were still there wiggling in her pouch. I couldn’t just pass them up so I got a saltines box out of a trash can and plucked them off. My mother knew exactly what to do with all of the babies. Once they grew to 8 inches from nose to bottom we released them. I have to admit it was difficult to run them off after becoming attached to them after months of nurturing them.
