Don’t understand why people are so caught up on maxing out the brightness on these TVs.
I can’t stand a glaringly bright screen.
I nearly exclusively use mine in the evening in a dim lit or completely dark room.
Maxing out brightness is harassing on the eyes.
I literally have my brightness settings at around 50%

Good video for beginners. Not sure if go with filmmaker mode, though... I'd also recommend setting Sharpness to zero and ensuring overscan is turned off (so you see the full picture... Which also means the pixels match one-to-one to give the sharpest picture)

I tried the balanced picture on the wizard picture settings and lowered black levels from 50 to 49, and very good picture 📸

I love my 55in G4. Watching transformers 3 Dark of the moon with cinematic movement on is an experience. Cant believe how real it looks with fluid movement. The bumblebee movie was crazy too.
