I was never much into the whole schooling and reading thing as a kid, it's all mines and steelworks here, but when I finally hit 17 and could drive, I found a 2nd hand book store in the 'Gong (yes, the same WollonGong that has that crazy bridge out over the ocean), and I bought and read the 3 adaptations of the Mad Max movies, costing me a dollar each. Max was indeed mad. Back in the 80's there weren't many movies like this..

There is another singer in this movie. That is Angry Anderson from Rose Tattoo, who plays Buster Brown.
Mad Max, the original was released in 1979, number 2 in 1981, and Mad Max Beyond the Thunderdome, was released in 1985.
Mel Gibson was also in a film called Tim in 1979, and Gallipoli in 1981, and in the late 80’s and in the 90’s, starred in the Lethal weapon franchise movies

Here in this film clip you get to see lots of Angry Anderson in the background (7:05, 8:17), lead singer of Rose Tattoo, who has done a fair bit of acting and cameo appearences over the years and still does them to this day.
