I was not expecting the “I must scavenge and steal for my art supplies and I am slowly descending into madness” vibe. But I’m not complaining

On one hand, I think it’s really nice that she’s making sure “budget” is ACTUALLY bare minimum to make it as accessible as possible
On the other hand this has a high key “art is forbidden and I must scavenge napkins and paints and make my own brushes and needles in secret” kinda vibe that I love 😂

I love how this is less of a "Doll custom on a budget" and more of "Doll custom in the apocalypse". It's a super cute doll, though, and I really like the creativity f how to go about assembling it all!

“I might theoretically sell this for $70”
And that, my friends, is how you make money using literal trash

This is one of the best and most accurate 'budget' videos like making the brushes and sharpening a toothpick for the needle jeez that's inventive

I love how she actually got the stuff. Not like other youtubers that’s are like “well I bought this for $20 but you COULD find it lying on the ground.

The part where she literally MADE BRUSHES AND NEEDLES out of trash had me like: Dude, I know I'm poor, BUT NOT SO POOR DAMMIT

I was NOT ready for this video
When you sharpened the toothpick and made a needle.. This is like doll customization in prison. Loved it

I didn't have much glue so when it came time for me to gloss the eyes I used a glossy nail polish, it worked realy well.

it says thrift in the title so i was expecting a few budget saving tips but every minute the thriftiness just turned up to a thousand more

“so now to make her clothes!”

me: “okay i guess that means no sewing machine so time to bust out the sewing kit right?”

“i made this needle and thread out of a toothpick and gluing the thread to the end”

me: 👀👀👀👀👀 “girl you did what????”

in seriousness this was extremely impressive holy crap youve won

Since you didn't show a reroot tool, i made mine out of a broken needle and a glue stick. Literally a hot glue stick, heat it up, stab a needle into it (pointy side in) and break the eye of the needle with pliers :)
Nice custom btw! Very helpful uwu

I’d love to see you make this doll again, just not on a budget. Using all of your professional supplies and all that jazz.
