HOW TO drip acclimate your Shrimp

Acclimation is the most important part when it comes to ensuring your new shrimp do not get shocked in their new water parameters. If you’re worried about getting water in your mouth, use the blunt end of a syringe and pull to create suction/vacuum

actually no need get that black stuff control the drip right? I saw some shrimp ppl just tie a knot in between the tube.

I did mine for 24hrs, but my shrimp container ended up at 18.C (64.4F) and my tank was 25.C (77F). So I added a 50W heater plus an airstone and slowly brought the shrimp container up to 25.C before adding them to the main tank.

Please I have questions
1) when you open bag, ph will increase and convert ammonium to ammonia harm shrimp, specially if come from long shipment, so what to
do in this case?
2) as you said its better for long acclimating, is it necessity for air stone? But even if we use it will increase ph and make above mentioned problem, so what to do in this case?
3) how match temperature between bucket and aquarium?

After many, many mouthfulls of tank water I now use a small plastic syringe to suck the water through the tubing :)
