Saw it at an early screening Saturday. Best transformers movie to date. Loved how it actually showed the origins of the auto bots and how we were able to focus on just the transformers.

The moment when Orion Pax became Optimus Prime, everyone in my audience cheered like it was an Avengers Endgame moment of Transformers. And honestly, this shows how well done this movie delivered for Transformers fans and I loved it.

I've been a TF fan for almost 40 years (might be 40 years tomorrow, but I'm not sure if I watched the first episode the day it premiered). I've enjoyed G1, RiD, Animated, Prime, most of the Bay movies (granting even the best of them had its ups and downs), both Bayverse 'prequels' (which I thought were much more consisently solid) and even Cyberverse. Transformers is one of my favorite franchises.

I saw TF One Saturday at one of the local early screenings. I also thoroughly enjoyed it, as did my 13 year old son (fan for about 4 years) and my wife.

We all knew that eventually Megatron would become the enemy, but because I believed in his friendship with Optimus their fallout was devastating. I really wanted them to resolve their differences. The movie have way more layers to these characters than expected.

This is exactly what the franchise needs, it was so good! A strong story! As a lifelong Transformers fan I got a thrill out of the lore it explored and the references to the history. I also loved Chris as Orion/Optimus. And ILM’s animation was great.

Saw it last weekend. I thought Megatron’s turn made a whole lot more sense than Annakin’s in the Star Wars prequels. Great movie!!

At the 12 minute mark you talk about the friends to enemies and are not sure if that is actually how it would be if turned back time to when this movie takes place. As a BIG Transformers fan, there have been multiple interpretations of the origin, and while they are not bffs, they are still really good friends that almost always ends in one of them making a choice that the other disagrees with which causes them to become enemies.

Already saw it and I think it's the best transformers movie we got since the bad Michael Bay transformers movies. except for the first one which I love and respect. I love this movie from start to finish and in the after-credit scene which I won't spoil I literally called Megatron a traitor and people around me started laughing at what I said.

Glad to hear it turned out well! There seems to be two narrative circling around, 1. It's a prequel to the live action movies and 2. It's a separate continuity. I'm really hoping that #2 is the truth in this case.
