The trailers made me think this was just super childish and only for kids, but I'm glad to hear that this is for adults and more mature as well

Sounds like this is an Into the Spider-Verse scenario where the trailers give the impression that it's a movie for kids and lacks an emotional journey. So, I guess there's...more than meets the eye.

Just watched it with my wife and kids. Wow it was so good and the theater gave it a rousing applauds too. I highly recommend it.

This film included quite a few scenes involving decapitation, dismemberment, and robot organ harvesting. It is actually much more mature and violent than the trailers originally depicted.

I also just got out of a screening as well, very emotional movie. I actually cared about these robots. It wasn’t just about battles and transforming.

The trailers didn’t do it justice, they focused on the silliest and goofiest parts of the movie (mostly coming from bumblebee) and the actual movie is so much more than that. Thank god for the overwhelming positive reviews coming out because based on the trailers alone with no other info, I'd have skipped this movie.

This movie really surprised me. They went much darker than I expected in some scenes and there really wasn't as much comedy as I thought there would be. They really let the drama and serious parts of the movie get the focus they deserve. And the friendship between Optimus and Megatron feels so real that it just makes the inevitable falling out hit so much more. Phenomenal movie

My son just saw it and said it's the best transformers movie ever made, he loved it and wants me to see it next weekend.

As a kid that grew up watching G1 and having a let's just say emotional experience. When I went to that theater with my mom to see the transformers the movie I was at first a bit apprehensive about this movie. But then the more I saw of the trailers the more I was intrigued and I'm so happy to hear that it turned out great! Can't wait to see it!

Great they finally made a great Transformers movie. Now all they have to do is get Jem and the Holograms right and we have a proper Hasbro Cinematic Universe.
