Having a balanced routine as a beginner is a must have. If I could start all over again I would focus on handstand and v-sit progression exercises, because it targets both the anterior and posterior chain, while developing the core for more advanced skills.

My 9 year old son has been doing your program with his dad (with modification and help as needed) and he can already do an elbow lever! So proud of him. This was a great video. I’m working on these skills.. not there yet. I have made a ton of progress since starting your beginner program about 8 weeks ago!

Been going to the gym for about 9 months, but as it got a bit boring, I decided to try calisthenics. This video is perfect for me, thank you!

Hi Michael, I am still a beginner in calisthenics and struggle with doing a proper planche. I have progressed to being able to perform an advanced tuck planche, but I am however, taking a little to long to advance to the straddle planche. With that being said, I am thankful for this video as I believe the elbow lever is just what I need to progress to the next level.
