I see a lot of people in the ow community crap on euc's and vice versa. Both have their place, are extremely fun and that's the beauty of having options, and btw you look so much more comfortable on the lynx, glad to see you stuck with it

If you are riding just to enjoy the ride I think the onewheel wins, but if you're riding to get somewhere or as a daily commuter the EUC wins hands down. The real decider for most is going to be their wallet, and the EUC wins in every performance category on the same budget.

I'm an EUC rider but I def see the appeal of onewheels. 9/10 I'm not riding beyond the range of a OW, and while I'm definitely going faster, the more casual nature of the OW makes it much friendlier for bike paths and any time you need to ride around pedestrians/crowds of people. Legality is becoming a factor we need to think about too-- EUCs are more noticeable, especially because every smart EUC rider wears full motorcycle gear. My city doesn't have great bicycle infrastructure so I end up riding with traffic a lot of the time which similarly raises my profile. My vehicle goes a lot faster than people unfamiliar with these machines think, and I'm kinda just waiting for the moment where I get flagged down and questioned by cops. Also waiting for new laws to show up and officially make my EUC illegal (hopefully not but I'm not banking on legislators to take the time to understand how amazing and useful these devices are). OWs have a way lower profile and I think the public generally doesn't mind them showing up on bike/walking paths, but I do get weird looks when I'm on my EUC no matter how slow I go, or courteous I am to others. At the end of the day I know I look like a freak, riding this tron shit around with robot armor. I'm thinking about getting a OW just for casual cruising and little backpack trips to the store for milk and stuff. Anyway EUCs and OWs are both super cool machines and I still can't believe that this technology exists and is so accessible.

I loved your video - being a snowboader since the 1980s I had a hard time getting an EUC. It's a much harder wheel to learn. But I also find myself riding the EUC more as a new learner. But I feel more relaxed and carvey on the OW (I have a Pint X and a GT). There's definitley a place for both... thanks brother!

Most euc riders i know were either used to be one wheelers and completely euc riders or use their one wheels back ups

7:50 "(EUCs) are generally lighter than onewheels, making them easier to carry upstairs". The Lynx weighs about 3x more than a Onewheel. Pretty much any >100V EUC will outweigh a Onewheel by a lot.

I subbed for the chill cool vibes that lead to OneWheel, you do you killah. I enjoy whatever you release even if it aint EUC or OneWheel. Bless up and have fun!

Im glad you finally made this video. I think the difference between the two styles would be drastically closer in power department if you tried an ADV or customized vesc eboard but those arent onewheels. Unfortunately onewheels are incredibly underpowered.

Otherwise everything sounds pretty bang on, i disagree a bit on portability though. EUCs are generally heavier because of their massive batteries. Hopping in a train or bus or into a grocery store is alot easier with a onewheel or other eboard.

Haha i started with onewheel went to euc and im slowly going back to the onewheel, its just so much easier to live with right now, if i got to ride all day or really comute it might be different..just tired of killing my back for a five minute ride then finding a spot for it, i can keep the onewheel with me everywhere, not a big deal to pull out of the trunk or back seat.

Gotta have the right shoes for Onewheel. Flatsole is a must IMO or you’re more likely to get the speed wobbles or lose control.

Very informative! I love the camera work! I did an informative video recently as well. It was super out of my comfort zone but the feedback was positive. You did a great job definitely keep mixing it up!

I’m on a similar experience between riding a OneWheel for 2 years (being my first board) to purchasing my first eSkate.

I love the options now, and different ride feels. But as far as riding my eSkate on actual roads/sidewalks the OneWheel feels better JUST because you only have to worry about ONE tire instead of four (whether it be street wheels or pneumatic tires).

And the turning radius is different too. Plus where I live, drivers aren’t ready yet for riders just zipping by them or between like those videos I see in NYC, and such.

Again, love the options between my GTS, and the two eSkates I have now 😁

Great content. As you know I'm a learner on the EUC so any tips you have as you have learned I appreciate. Either format and content are good to me. Keep it coming. Safe riding, on either one. 👍🏼😀

I think that if you're comparing the two, acknowledging the bigger EUCs is good, but the real comparison would have to be with EUCs that share similar weight class at the least. Wheels that are comparable in speed and battery capacity to their OW counterparts. If we did that, certainly the EUCs would be better IMO. We're talking 40-60lbs EUCs like the KING SONG 16S, 16X, S18, 18XL. Begodes Falcon and other similar wheels in that compact category.
At this point, comparing a Lynx to any OW is like comparing a skateboard to a motorcycle lol. Sure the skateboard is lighter, maybe more fun and portable. But the other ones a motorcycle 🤷 haha

New to your channel here. I clicked on it because of the thumbnail and the title was straight to the point. “EUC vs Onewheel”. I totally understand the needing to gain more subs, but it was totally unnecessary to tell me that you’re changing up your video format to hit a wider array of audience. If you would have went straight into the EUC vs Onewheel setup, you would have had me out the gate. I dont know what your other videos are like. I wouldn’t have known there was a change. I would have gotten exactly what I was looking for.
I’m not hating, it’s all love. Just keep in mind that when new people come to your vids, the last thing they want is unnecessary information. Keep the content tight. It works the same way in comedy and other forms of entertainment. I look forward to seeing you grow.

I think your thoughts are spot on. I’ve have had a Onewheel Pint, XR and GT. Curiosity got the best of me so I sold the GT last year to try EUC. I am quite fond of the Extreme Bull Commander I picked up. It took a while to figure out, but I am quite happy with it. I may pick up another Onewheel, I may not. I do love both platforms. The EUC is ticking those boxes for me right now. Your mileage may vary.
