OneWheel is great for group rides. EUC is great for passing group rides....which I prefer.

I have both a one wheel and a EUC and I’ve fallen on the one wheel probably about 10x’s… I’ve fallen 1x on a EUC flying off a jump, EUC is safer, much more warnings and limits you can apply, one wheel… zero warning signs, when you fall you have no idea when it’s gonna happen, much smaller motor is prone to much more cutouts especially because of the lack of speed but I love both wheels! Go ride one of em!!! 🤙 but I recommend the EUC but the surfer stance is much cooler IMO

EUC, hands down is safer and you get more for your buck when you look at the specs, battery, speed. But the OW beats EUC when it comes to the overall community experience and it’s not because FM is doing a great job, it’s the third party company making sure that the community vibe gets bigger every year since they have a lot riding on the OW’s future success.

Having rode my pint x for 2700miles and my v12 HS for 1700 miles hands down the euc wins in every category. It’s kinda crazy how overpriced onewheels are for what you actually get in a full package as far as battery, speed, safety, and right to repair.

I have an EUC but do rides with onewheelers. the OW or EUC is as safe as YOU ride it. both have known cutout and speed limits.

I’m just going to be honest as much as i love onewheel i have fallen so many times compared to EUC and onewheel is so much slower

Here is the more complex answer, I feel there is no binary yes or no possible.
If you stay at speeds < 20 mph I feel the unicycle is far safer.
If you are an adrenaline seeker and want to ride 45 mph on an EUC I feel your risk to mortality is far less likely on a OW just because it is capped at max speed.
so logic would be If <= 20 mph then EUC, If >=30 mph then OW, Else Unicycle

I have over 300 miles on the one wheel. Without a shadow of doubt, I know the EUC is safer.

I have an euc and a onewheel. An experienced rider with fangs on a onewheel is safer than an euc.

How is this a comparison at all the onewheels top speed is 20mph before it does let you know to slow down hence pushback and the beeping sound on an euc your face planting no matter what on a onewheel you can catch yourself because your not just going face first i guess you could say shoulder first but id rather wreck my shoulder then my head on the ground everyone that rides an euc has a full face helmet on for a reason 😂 little silly comparison especially when those euc's go 50 plus mph ive ran out a nosedive on the onewheel at 20mph barley your not running out anything on a euc the way your foot stance is i would agree there probably smoother on bumpy roads due to the suspension on just euc's but you got alot more to maintaine you look silly asf let's be honest onewheels definitely without a doubt look cooler and if you do wreck chances of an euc surviving isnt very good where onewheels you can beat the you know what out of them all day long and they still go just my thoughts seems silly to compare something you'll dive face first into vs. something where you can hop off and run it out 😂
