i'm a trans woman who drives for UBER and LYFT. The app has our pronouns listed. I get misgendered every now and again. I don't get angry and I don't correct my riders. Lilly should grow up and quit being so offended. Or... she should dress as a woman her age would dress. She's not a teenager, is she? Maybe wear clothing appropriate to a thritysomething woman?

I have a close family member who’s trans. He just wants to live his life & exist in his skin. If someone misgenders him, he just continues to use his preferred pronouns & keeps it pushing. He doesn’t lose his mind, it doesn’t ruin his day. He’s very androgynous (like Bowie levels) & is a beautiful person however he presents but sometimes he presents more femme than masc. But he’s not going to allow what other people say/think about him to ruin his day.

I was recently misgendered at the grocery store, a newer guy working there saw me from behind (I have long hair) and called me "mam" several times, I just kinda turned around confused cause I didn't know he was talking to me and after he looked at my face for a bit he got all flustered and apologized right away going "oh! I-I mean sir!!"
I didn't have to say a thing and honestly me and the few people who saw it happen all just laughed cause we thought it was funny, I told him it was all good cause I didn't want him to be too embarrassed and cause well, I get it, it happens

I will always comment this when I see this video: English is not everyone’s first language. When I was in Istanbul, I (a cis woman) was constantly called sir. This is just a way of being polite not even accidental misgendering. Some languages even have a gender neutral honorific, and think “sir” functions in the same way. Not saying this is what is happening here, but there servers are obviously trying to be polite and not trying to misgender her, don’t get them in trouble at work, or have them be called out in front of their coworkers, customers, and your audience for something that is presenting as an honest mistake.

Trans man here, been out for many moons now. My biggest issue with Lily, (And as a trans man, I cannot speak on trans women's experiences) She really seems to fetishize her transness and humiliation from situations surrounding that? I've been in the community since I was a young teen, and I don't know that I've met another trans woman that's like her.

She is definitely going about it the wrong way with the misgendering thing. And the child teaching thing.

I'm transitioning while around my 11 year old siblings, and they will eventually ask and I will explain to them what I am... WHEN THEY ASK. Also my own mother is still trying to adjust to my transition with my new name and pronouns. So are some of my irl friends.

Yeah I get called a girl from time to time, but at least I dont make a tik tok with too much info. Lol.

Anyways as a trans person I approve of how you're going about this person.
